I’m loving all the Christmas lights going up everywhere at the moment. This really is one of my favourite times of the year — even though the days are getting shorter, there’s still something lovely to look forward to. Lights are sprinkled all over the place, and there’s something undeniably magical about it.
Last year I was in Barbados, and while the Christmas decorations looked interesting, they felt a bit out of place simply because it was so hot. I suppose people who’ve grown up with warm, tropical Christmases might find a cold Christmas just as strange — or perhaps they don’t mind it at all because we’ve all been conditioned by Hollywood Christmas films. :)
