Synopsis: A WWII psychiatrist evaluates Nazi leaders before the Nuremberg trials, growing increasingly obsessed with understanding evil as he forms a disturbing bond with Hermann Göring.
Review: It’s a thought-provoking story, especially since trying war criminals wasn’t always standard practice, and I enjoyed it overall. However, I think it could have been better. This might be a controversial opinion, but I don’t believe Rami Malek has a wide range—he tends to play all his characters the same way, and here it felt like Malek in an army uniform simply being Rami Malek. I think someone like Andrew Scott would have done the role of the psychiatrist more justice. Still, it’s worth checking out for the subject matter.
