British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel. Less luxurious than advertised, the Marigold Hotel nevertheless slowly begins to charm in unexpected ways.I thoroughly enjoyed The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. The film was both funny and heartwarming, with a brilliant cast. While there were some poignant moments, I left the cinema feeling cheerful and inspired—so much so that I was tempted to book the next flight to India!
